模块整体解读及分析:

【话题】A Trip Along the Three Gorges

【教材分析】

本模块以A Trip Along the Three Gorges为话题,以游记的形式介绍了长江三峡的风光、古迹以及沿途的所见所闻,带领学生走进长江,了解长江,畅谈长江。使学生学会一些关于江河峡谷的词汇,并运用所学知识简单描述旅游经历,介绍风景名胜及地理位置。通过本模块学习,学生要对祖国自然人文遗产有初步了解,激发学生热爱祖国河山的热情。

本模块主要复习情态动词,学生在初中阶段的学习中已经对情态动词有了初步的了解。通过本模块的学习,应使学生进一步了解到情态动词有一定的词义,表示某种感情和语气,但不能单独作谓语,要和其他动词一起构成谓语。常用的情态动词有:can (could), may(might), must, have to, shall(should), will(would), need, ought to, used to, dare等。结合情态动词和听力部分的学习可以帮助学生掌握表达义务、许可、禁止的相关用语。

本模块的写作任务是写一篇游记文章,记述自己在旅行中的经历,所见所闻,切身感受。

【学情分析】

本次使用的是能力较好,相对比较活跃的班级。自主探究意识和小组合作意识较强,能够积极、主动地与其他同学共同研究学习,这是本节课几个关键问题设计的基础。三峡有关的信息,学生或多或少通过书本、媒体有所了解,但几乎没人去过,因此学生会对相关三峡的话题有一定的期望值,本模块让学生运用所掌握的知识和信息,在speaking部分中进一步讨论关于这一话题的内容,了解更多的信息,激发学生参与课堂的兴趣。

【教学目标】

1. 语言知识目标:

(1)Pronunciation 复习“意群与停顿”。

(2)Words and expressions: Page 116 Module 5

(3)Important sentences:

(4) Grammar复习情态动词尤其是表示能与不能的情态动词的用法。

2. 语言技能目标:

(1) Listening 能听懂有关长江三峡地理、历史等人文情况的语言信息;在听的过程中能够明白表示义务、许可、禁止等功能的表达。

(2) Speaking 运用本模块所学词汇和短语介绍与长江三峡有关的情况;在表达中能够正确恰当地使用情态动词。

(3) Reading 阅读中能识别新学词汇、短语并根据上下文正确推断其意义;正确理解介绍三峡之旅的阅读文章;阅读时能快速准确地把握文章大意。

(4) Writing 运用本模块所学词汇和短语,完成所有书面练习;能够按照空间顺序记叙游览某地的经历并适当就加入个人观点。

3. 情感态度:热爱祖国的悠久历史和大好河山,为文化遗产和自然遗产的保护做出自己的贡献。

4. 文化意识:进一步了解我国丰富的旅游资源和旅游文化,增强向外国友人积极介绍我国风景名胜的意识。

5. 学习策略:学会搜集英文版旅游指南、风景介绍、地图、游记等材料,通过经常阅读这类材料提高自己的英语水平。

【教学重点】

(1) 掌握一些与地理和旅游相关的词汇;

(2) 学习正确描述地理方位及介绍地理场景的表达方式;

(3) 复习表示义务、允许、禁止的句式。

【教学难点】

(1) 情态动词在表示职责、允许和禁止时的不同语气;

(2) 正确使用地理及方位名词。

(3) 学会用所学内容描述家乡或介绍旅游行程。

【话题】 Travel and transport( Travel (schedules, maps, tickets, fares))(课标话题项目表(17))

【教学内容分析】 这是一篇介绍游览三峡的文章。本模块以“旅游”为话题,从旅游观光的角度介绍了我国著名的长江三峡的有关旅游行程、地貌特征和风土人情的信息。本文新词汇量较少,主要涉及旅行路线的信息,沿途风景的介绍及它的历史变迁,和相关的旅游活动。文章整体难度不大。

综合分析,对于文本的处理没有必要分析主旨大意,应侧重于了解文章结构的理解,练习阅读微技能。

【学情分析】 学生对于旅游话题比较熟悉,通常很感兴趣。高一的学生英语学习方法尚不娴熟,各层次学生水平参差不齐,所以教学设计应该层层递进,深入浅出,语言输入时要做好充分的铺垫,为输出语言做好准备。

【课时目标】

教学目标一:通过了解旅游背景,读懂文章来获取文章信息;通过阅读和读后训练,识记新单词(colleague,downstream,goods, trade, dock detour,etc),并能运用到表达中;通过阅读和为完成阅读任务做准备的过程中,训练扫读具体信息和空间顺序,捕捉文章的逻辑线索,准确把握文章结构;细节阅读抓住文章的关键词等阅读微技能。

教学目标二:运用在课堂上学到的知识进行相应的表达与展示活动。

Step 1: Study Objectives(预计1分钟)

1. To grasp the important information of the text by knowing the

background, reading the passage and understanding some complex

sentences.

completing the task.

3. To practice some reading micro-skills, such as scanning for

specific information and spatial order, skimming for logic clues,

detailed reading and translating, during reading and the process

of completing the task.

Step 2: Leading in (预计1分钟)

Lead in by talking about traveling and whether they have been to the Three Gorges.

Do you like traveling? Where have you been to?

When did you go there? Who did you go with?

How long did you stay there?

Have you ever been to the Three Gorges?

【设计说明】通过询问学生生活经历,能够调动学生参与英语课堂学习的兴趣,并快速激活学生相关的旅游知识信息。同时,能够直奔主题进入本课旅行的目的地---三峡之旅,借助视频欣赏对文本背景作初步了解,激发学生对本课文阅读和学习的积极性。

【评价说明】能够积极响应老师的问题,说明学生积极性被有效的调动起来;表达用语的选择可以看出学生对旅游话题和三峡背景的了解和熟悉程度;如果学生语言输出有困难,则表明对旅游话题相关词汇掌握不够,需要在学习过程首先识记相关词汇和表达;如果学生语言输出较轻松,则表明旅游词汇基础较好,只需总结课文相关词汇并巩固词汇,练习表达中的灵活运用即可。

Suppose you were a tour guide and some friends will come to visit your hometown. And they need your advice on their visit. So try to master some useful expressions in this module and write some sentences to introduce

your hometown to the travelers arriving in your hometown,using what you have learned in this module.

【设计说明】:该环节是导入环节和reading之间的衔接,主要是为了让学生预测文章的主要内容。作为学习的主人,学生可以根据自己的阅历先预见课文,进而在后面的阅读学习中能快速的领会大意,通过信息比较获得更加深刻的学习效果。

1.教材地位及作用

Module 5 A Trip along The Three Gorges 是高中英语必修5的一个有关旅游观光的模块。本模块分为6个课时,我选的是第二课时Reading and Vocabulary 。这是一篇游记,通过对阅读方法和技巧的学习来提高学生的阅读能力和英语水平。同时进一步了解我国丰富的旅游资源和旅游文化,培养学生的爱国情操。

2.教学目标

(一)任知目标

1. 阅读中能识别新学词汇,短语并根据上下文正确推断其意义。

2. 阅读时能快速地把握文章大意。

(二)能力目标

1. 正确理解介绍三峡之旅的阅读文章。

2. 说出与长江与三峡有关的词汇、短语。能用自己的语言介绍长江三峡的基本情况。

(三)德育目标

.热爱祖国的悠久历史和大好河山,为文化遗产和自然遗产的保护做出自己的贡献。

3.教学重点、难点

(一)教学重点:

1. 对全文大意作整体理解。

2. 掌握本课的重点短语。

【学情分析】

在接触一年高中英语之后,高二学生已经掌握了略读、跳读等一定阅读技巧以及识别

关键词、确定主题句、预测等阅读微技能,形成了初步的策略。但是大部分学生的基础仍然比较落后,主动学习的动力不够,然而他们也想学好,也有学习的信心,所以在教学h过程中他们是积极配合的。另外,不同专业也有不同的特点,计算机专业学生聪明,但努力不够,可以给他们设置一定的任务让他们去完成。而幼师专业学生对文化课兴趣不够,所以一定要设置使她们感兴趣的活动,让她们表现自己,充分地投入到课堂活动中。

【教学策略】

高中阶段是个探索自我,发现自我,表现自我的时期,特别是我所教的计算机专业和幼师专业的同学,他们的表现力较强,所以就他们的特点,本课我主要采用以下几种教学方法:

1. 整体型教学

整体型教学是以语篇内容为核心,以语篇结构和语言功能为主线,通过听、说、读、写的课堂教学使学生获取整体知识信息。

2. 合作型教学

合作型教学可以活跃课堂学习气氛,激发学生的回答意识与参与欲望,培养学生合作学习能力。教师在教学中要善于为学生提高和创造合作的机会,让学生在合作对话、分组讲议和集体归纳的合作形式中学会学习。

3. 多媒体辅助教学

多媒体辅助教学可以使课堂教学更加直观和生动。能够激发学生积极参与教学活动的兴趣,能够提高课堂教学的节奏和密度。教师可充分利用多媒体展示平台,让插图活起来,调动了学生学习的兴趣,加深了学生对此篇的理解。

1.本节课我通过不同的任务设置,让学生在小组活动中通过合作和探究来完成各个任务,活动既有轻松有趣的讨论和幻灯片动画,又有需要深层思考的阅读理解活动和讨论活动,不同的任务设置激发了学生的学习兴趣;小组活动在竞赛中进行,使得小组活动既有合作又有竞争,增加了小组活动的有效性。同时小组竞赛激励学生学习,帮助学生有效调控自己的学习过程,使学生获得成就感,增强自信心,培养合作精神的目的。

2。在教学中我鼓励学生用鼓掌的方式对表现好的同学进行肯定与表扬。老师对学生的表现进行评价,学生对学生的合适的评价,往往能营造积极愉快的英语学习气氛,使更多的学生加入到英语学习中来,并获得成就感。

3。另外教师在课堂上,不只是完成教学任务,而是要不断观察学生的表现,倾听学生的声音,观察学生的目光及表情,是昂首挺胸、跃跃欲试还是无精打采,是无忧无虑还是忧心重重,是充满自信还是软弱无力。如果他们昂首挺胸、跃跃欲试、无忧无虑、充满自信,那么就营造了一个良好的心理氛围,所以学生才能大胆发表自己的意见。

4.由于学生的阅读基础不扎实,在表达自己的看法和用英语进行讨论时,不时有学生夹杂着汉语,或有的学生不敢大胆说出自己的看法,欲言又止。这说明,在平时的教学中,我应该多呈现给学生更多的常用句型,让学生掌握常用句型,在让学生进行谈论前,应尽量帮助学生解决语言困难。在学生进行小组活动时,应尽量给学生更多的帮助,主动了解学生的语言困难。
