Step 1 Leading in

Draw two pictures on the Bb ,in the first picture a boy is getting up late, and in the second picture the boy can’t catch the early bus. Then talk about the pictures with Ss and write down the sentence “If you get up late , you will not catch the early bus.” Read the sentences ,Ss repeat. Repeat with other sets of pictures.

Step 2 Pre-task

SB Page 73, 1a.

1. Point out the pictures and ask Ss to tell what they see.

2. Ask some students to read the statements and responses.

3. Have Ss match the statements and responses on their own.

Step 3 While-task

1. Play the tape and get Ss to check their answers to activity 1a.

也可放主句后。当if引导的条件状语从句放在主句前,即句首时,从句后面要用逗号与主句隔开。if引导的条件状语从句,主句用一

般将来时,if从句用一般现在时表将来。“主将从现”

In our last section, we learned about future plans. And we practiced much about the structure “be going to”. So first, let’s welcome our duty reporter. Now we are going to learn Section B. First follow me to read the following new words and expressions:

resolution, instrument, New Year, foreign.

Step2.1a Looking and matching

What’s the date today? And when is New Year’s Day? Do you have any plans for the new year? The plans you make to yourself at New Year’s Day are called New Year’s Resolutions.

Look at the pictures on page 62! What is the boy doing in each picture?

B: He is playing the piano.

C: He is eating something.

D: He is playing soccer.

E: He is reading a newspaper.

These five pictures show us the boy’s New Year’s Resolutions. Read the instructions and connect each of the six sentences with the correct picture. Then talk about the boy’s resolutions in pairs.

一、教学内容分析

本节课的教学内容是人教版新目标八年级英语上unit10 I'm going to be a basketball player 的第一课时1a-grammar Focus。本课位于人教版八年级上10 单元的第一部分,其主要内容就是学习关于职业的单词以及be going to的用法,用一般将来时谈论未来自己与他人理想的职业,为实现理想所做出的打算和安排。目的是为进一步学习一般将来时打下良好的基础。

二、教学目标

(1).知识目标: 要求学生学会使用computer programmer, computer science, engineer, pilot, professional „并让学生听懂、会说相关的拓展词汇。能用be giong to 表达职业及怎样实现目标。

(2).能力目标:分听说读写四方面

听:能听懂使用目标语进行的对话,并从中获取相关信息;

说:学生能运用所学的词汇及句子对职业进行谈论;

读:学生能准确朗读录音对话,培养地道的语音语调;

写:通过本课的语言输入,学生能够根据自己的能力完成一个有意义的对话并能写下一个report.

(3).情感目标:通过对人生理想的讨论,以竞赛游戏形式激发并强化学生的学习兴趣,使他们能在轻松活泼的学习气氛里树立信心,积极合作,形成健康和谐的学习品质。并且让学生明白要实现自己的人生理想,现在就应该努力学习。

(4)学习策略目标:由于本课时要使用的单词量过多,因此课前指导学生预习单词,形成良好的课前预习习惯,从而提高课堂效率,更好地进行师生互动,同时引导学生通过观察总结归纳职业单词词缀的特点,进行高效学习。

三.教学重点、难点

⑴学生能够根据真实人物或图片学习词汇、词组computer programmer等,能理解、内化、运用,并拓展相关职业词汇,如CEO 、cleaner等

⑵学生能用What are you going to be when you grow up?和How are you going to do that?及第三人称形式来谈论职业打算,怎样实现目标,这即是重点,又是难点。

(3)通过本课学习,让学生能够树立正确的职业观“人无高低之分,职业无贵贱之分”。

四说学情

1、班级容量大,学生语言实践机会少,基础差。

2、学生学习程度不一,整体教学中较难兼顾到具体对象,容易两极分化。

3、初中学生活泼好动,好胜心强,可塑性大。

五、教法与学法

在本课中我立足于学生实际,创设生活化的真实情境,引导学生learning by doing, learning while doing, learning for doing;采用任务型教学,进行合作调查,综合运用语言,让学生学会合作,通过合作学习让不同层次的学生都有所得。同时学生要学会预习,学会观察、归纳,形成自主学习能力。本课我利用多媒体辅助教学。

五、教学步骤

Step1 Warming up

Before class let students listen to a song, and in this song, students will hear a lot of words about jobs, if they can hear them, write down or remember them.

( 设计意图:首先让学生听一首歌导入新课,在这首歌中包含了很多关于职业的单词,由此来引导学生复习以前学过跟职业有关的单词,同时这首歌很好的活跃了课堂气氛,使学生快速进入英语教学情境,给课堂带来轻松愉快的氛围。)

Step2 Revision

活动:职业名称知多少?

让各组在黑板上写出他们所知道的职业,各小组内所写内容不能重复,比一比看哪小组写的最多,最快。

(设计意图 :竞赛激趣,以旧带新,并扩展关于职业更多的英文表达方式,为后面谈论学生的职业提供语言材料。)

Step3Presentation

1. Teach new words and expressions by showing the pictures. 利用新图片继续进行问答,用以呈现新单词professional, programmer,engineer,pilot。

(设计意图 :在学生预习,板书的基础上,利用图片巩固单词,攻破本课词汇难点,同时也突出了重点。)

2观察归纳,培养能力。

在此基础上,将新旧职业单词呈现,让学生观察,让学生find something to help them to remember the words better .让学生找出规律。

(设计意图 :培养其自主学习的能力,进行学法指导。如果学生能讲出,都给予加分鼓励。You are good at English. You can teach others. you study English hard , and you practice English every day. 这样自然过渡到词组的学习。

3利用新图片继续进行问答,用以呈现目标语言What are you going to be when you grow up?和How are you going to do that?师生利用图片操练句子

(设计意图:借助多媒体展示的图片引入目标语言,这样过度自然,图片上有职业词汇和词组,分解了教学难点,并且直观、形象,印象深刻.)

Step3 Pair work

让学生以pair work形式巩固操练目标语言看哪一组在一分钟完成多少组对话。

(设计意图:实践语言,发展能力。通过上面的教学活动,学生充分学习了本课的重点词汇,句型,我便创设竞赛以pair work形式看哪一组在一分钟完成多少组对话,让学生在团队游戏中,快乐而高效地落实了句型。)

Step4 Listening practice

Listen and match the items in 1b。

将目标转向课本,由动到静,听力训练,完成1b,由于这个听力简单,我将叫基础相对薄弱的学生来回答1b的听力内容,以尊重个体差异,让他们有成就感,同时给他们加分。 完成1b后,我就说What about Cheng Han ? What’s he going to be when he grows up? 完成听力2a-2b。

(设计意图:根据学生的语言学习规则,充分调动学生的各个感官,这样既能锻炼学生的听力水平,锻炼学生的反应能力.通过听力练习来完成2a 2b的教学内容,考查学生对短语和句型的理解程度。)

Step5 Do a survey.

8、合作调查,落实目标语,拓展学习内容。

感情的升华有了前面的铺垫,我就利用刘星。Liu Xing wants to know your beautiful dream, Let’s make a survey. 调查中包括职业,实现理想的地点.

(设计意图:让学生通过合作调查,在真实的语境中充分运用所学过的语言知识去获取信息,交换信息,表达自己的观点,同时提醒大家Two heads are better than one head. 培养互帮互助精神,同时也培养学生的学习方法。)

9、在学生做完报告后,根据学生的回答,如果大多数学生喜欢在大城市工作,我就引导他们说,You have beautiful dreams. I hope your dream can come true. But don’t forget these places, they need your help. Many people need our help. Many people help them. What are you going to do to help? 让学生在此情感刺激下深刻感受We are in a big family. Love makes the world more beautiful.同时让班上的小歌手刘家帅唱《爱的奉献》,让学生在视觉与听觉的交融中得到升华。

Step 5 Summary

对本节所学的句型结构“be going to do”进行一个的小结:

(设计意图:使学生通过小结对本课所学习的目标语言进行巩固与强化,达到熟练使用“be going to do”来谈论将来的打算,为下一步的学习打下基础。)

以My dream job.为题写一篇短文。 要求写清楚自己的人生理想,以及为实现这个理想要付出哪些努力。

一、语法:if引导的条件状语从句

(1) if意为“如果”,由它引导的条件状语从句表示假如有从句的动作发生,就会有主句的动作发生。

从句可以放在主句前或主句后,当从句置于主句之前是,须用逗号与主句隔开。

(2) 时态:当谈论将来可能出现的情况时,条件状语从句用一般现在时表示将来,主句常用一般将来

时,即“主将从现”。

(3) 如果if引导的从句中用了will,will在此处是情态动词,表示意愿。If you will help me, I will finish

it on time. 如果你愿意帮我,我会按时完成的。
