  表示推测的情态动词

  在英语中,表示对某件事物的确定程度,即表示推测的时候,我们通常会用到以下情态动词: must, might, could, may, can’t, couldn’t。

  belong to 属于 The car belongs to my uncle.

  这句话还可以说:The car is my uncle’s.

  当表述某物属于某人时,注意这两句的不同。

  belong to后直接加人名或人称代词宾格,而第二句be动词后要用名词所有格形式或名词性物主代词。
