A Lesson from Nature

Ladies and gentlemen: Good morning! Today, the title of my speech is A Lesson from Nature.

Around us , there are plants, animals and many other things. We live in nature, so to keep the balance of nature is very important for us. But today, too many trees are still being cut down in many countries and flood all over the world are getting more and more serious, A lot of land has gone with them. This is a lesson from nature.

When people move into a new place, they often cut down trees or pull out many wild plants to make farmland. They don’t know that trees can stop flood and wind from washing or blowing the earth away, and that many of these wild plants are food for some wild animals. If the animals can’t find enough plants to eat, they will die or have to leave the place.

In one part of the United States, for example, the deer there like to eat a kind of wild flowers. The mountain tigers there eat the deer. But people killed many mountain tigers to protect the deer. soon there were so many deer that the ate up all the wild flowers. Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young trees .so the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.

The number of trees, deer, tigers, wild flowers and plants has changed much—less and less. We need to do more to keep the balance of nature.

What life is about

“Good morning! Ladies and gentlemen”. Today, the title of my speech is “What life is about”

As we all know, the most important thing in life is our attitude towards it, lots of men have tried different ways of treating life, and some succeeded, some failed, and here are some of the tips they left us. Life isn’t about keeping score. Life isn’t about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin. In fact it’s not about if you have lots of friends or if you are alone, and it’s not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. Life just isn’t about that.

But life is about whom you love and who you hurt. It’s about how you feel about yourself. It’s about trust, happiness and compassion. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence. It’s about what you say and what you mean. It’s about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. And we should always remember to be ourselves. Other might have things that we desire but being what we really are is the only trail leading to the true colors of life. Most of all, it’s about choosing to use your life to touch someone else’s in a way that could have never been achieved otherwise.

We’ve learnt how to make a living but not a life, we’ve added years to life, but not life to years. And it is time for us to choose whether to make a difference in our life.

And these choices are what life is about.

众所周知，关于生活最重要的我们对待生活的态度，不同的人以不同的方式对待生活，一些人成功了，一些人失败了。这里有一些关于生活的帖士给我们大家。

但是，生活是关于你所爱的和你所伤害的那些人。生活就是你对自己的所有感觉。它是关于信任、幸福和包容。它是你对朋友的支持和如何用爱来融化内心的憎恨。生活就是远离嫉妒、克服无知和建立信心。生活是关于你的言行和思想。生活就是关注人的自身，而不是关注别人的拥有。而且我们必须记住保持我们的本色。虽然，生活的另一面令我们向往，但保持我们的本色是通往生活真谛的必由之路。总之，生活就是用你整个的生命去触摸其他人从未企及的选择。

在生活的长河中也常常令我们困惑和矛盾，我们拥有越来越高大的建筑，但我们也越来越缺乏耐心；我们购买的物质越来越多，但我们从中得到的快乐越来越少。我们学习如何活着但那却不是生活；人类的寿命越来越长，但有意义的生活并因此而延长。因此，现在正是我们选择使我们的人生变得不同凡响的时候了。 这些选择就是生活的真谛

As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life.

I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.

I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.

I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.

If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind.

I am a rich girl, because I have a lot of treasure. 我是一个富有的女孩，因为我拥有着许多的财富。

Friends are my treasures. Whenever I am sad and down, I know they would hold my hands and warm my heart. They show me how amazing the friendship is.

朋友是我的财富。当我伤心或者低落的时候，我知道他们会握着我的手并温暖我的心。他们告诉我友谊有多么美好。

Families are also my treasures. Whether time find us far apart or it keeps us close together, they are always standing by my side. They tell me how wonderful to be loved by people you love.

“A lovely girl ”这个节目是在去年我校举办的第一届风采大赛上节目。我做梦都没想到 ， 以前胆小害羞的我，竟敢站在全校同学面前，用英语展现自己，获得初中组第一名。这不仅是我人生第一次尝试挑战自己。我还敢说，它必将改变我的人生，其中的收获真是太多太多了。

听说学校要进行英语风采大赛，我想向自己发出挑战，我报名了。没想到小小个子的我竟成了幸运儿，通过了全班的初赛----那时我又害怕了，但我的班主任曾灿辉老师鼓励我说：“不要怕，只要你站上了舞台，你就是第一。”杨老师也将她的左右铭，“尽己最大之努力，留下最小之遗憾”送给了我。我放松了，没那么紧张了。演讲稿还经过了几次的修改，因为当时我们刚接触英语，不能说很多，我们就用我们刚学的那几个单元的内容组合起来，介绍家庭，介绍自己的爱好----组员也经过了几次组合。杨老师想给班内更多人的机会，这几位同学差不多都不是我们决赛的成员。其中有个黄头发的叫刘慧琳的女孩———我的同学，她的头发可不是染的哦，她是从小就患有一种病，她的身体很不好。可她很喜欢英语，很想参加比赛，老师就把机会给了她，每次练习她都是最努力的一个。看到她，令我们知道了幸福的含义。

我家在农村，父母都是农民，爸爸妈妈也不懂英语， 不能在家帮助我什么。可我喜欢学习，从心底里非常喜欢英语，喜欢上英语课。我在这爆料一下——我们的Ms Yang 经常说她是“魅力女人”，这可能是原因之一吧！我虽然也已经很努力了，可毕竟我们是农村出身的孩子，老师说我的发音中带着一股乡音，我纠正了很多次，也取得了很大的进步。

我们是一个快乐的集体，我们快乐的学习，老师对我们的评价是，“你们是初生牛犊不怕虎。”通过这次的活动，我的声音成了班里女孩子当中最大的；站在台上，我也不再脸红心跳了。快乐如我，自信如我。我将不断努力，来报答老师对我们的关心和努力。

品位修养、爱好愿望来确立选题选择表达方式以便更好地沟通。 其次演讲稿不仅要充分体现演讲者独到、深刻的观点和见解而且还要对声调的高低、语速的快慢、体态语的运用进行设计并加以注释以达到最佳的传播效果。 另外还要考虑演讲的时间、空间、现场氛围等因素以强化演讲的现场效果。 第五、口语性 口语性是演讲稿区别于其他书面表达文章和会议文书的重要方面。书面性文章无需多说其他会议文书如大会工作报告、领导讲话稿等并不太讲究口语性虽然由某一领导在台上宣读但听众手中一般也有一份印制好的讲稿一边听讲一边阅读不会有什么听不明白的地方。演讲稿就不同了它有较多的即兴发挥不可能事先印好讲稿发给听众。为此演讲稿必须讲究“上口”和“入耳”。所谓上口就是讲起来通达流利。所谓入耳就是听起来非常顺畅没有什么语言障碍不会发生曲解。具体要做到 把长句改成适听的短句 把倒装句改为常规句 把听不明白的文言词语、成语加以改换或删去 把单音节词换成双音节词 把生僻的词换成常用的词 把容易误听的词换成不易误听的词。 这样才能保证讲起来朗朗上口听起来清楚明白。 第六、临场性 演讲活动是演讲者与听众面对面的一种交流和沟通。听众会对演讲内容及时作出反应或表示赞同或表示反对或饶有兴趣或无动于衷。演讲者对听众的各种反映不能置之不顾因此写演讲稿时要充分考虑它的临场性在保证内容完整的前提下要注意留有伸缩的余地。要充分考虑到演讲时可能出现的种种问题以及应付各种情况的对策。总之演讲稿要具有弹性要体现出必要的控场技巧。 主要功能 第一、“使人知”演讲。这是一种以传达信息、阐明事理为主要功能的演讲。它的目的在于使人知道、明白。如美学家朱光潜的演讲《谈作文》讲了作文前的准备、文章体裁、构思、选材等使听众明白了作文的基本知识。它的特点是知识性强语言准确。 第二、“使人信”演讲。这种演讲的主要目的是使人信赖、相信。它从“使人知”演讲发展而来。如恽代英的演讲《怎样才是好人》不仅告知人们哪些人不是好人也提出了三条衡量好人的标准通过一系列的道理论述改变了人们以往的旧观念。它的特点是观点独到、正确论据翔实、确凿论证合理、严密。 第三、“使人激”演讲。这种演讲意在使听众激动起来在思想感情上与你产生共鸣从而欢呼、雀跃。如美国黑人运动领袖马丁.路德.金的《在林肯纪念堂前的演说》用他的几个“梦想”激发广大的黑人听众的自尊感、自强感激励他们为“生而平等”而奋斗。 第四、“使人动”演讲。这比“使人激”演讲进了一步它可使听众产生一种欲与演讲者一起行动的想法。法国前总统戴高乐在二战期间的英国伦敦作的演讲《告法国人民书》号召法国人民行动起来投身反法西斯的行列。它的特点是鼓动性强多以号召、呼吁式的语言结尾。 第五、“使人乐”演讲。这是一种以活跃气氛、调节情绪使人快乐为主要功能的演讲多以幽默、笑话或调侃为材料一般常出现在喜庆的场合。这种演讲的事例很多人们大都能听到。它的特点是材料幽默语言诙谐。

Dear friends! Do you still remember your first English teacher? You may say:”

Yes.” Everyone has his teachers, in my mind, I‟ll never forget her---my first English

teacher Ms. Li. Without her, I wouldn‟t be standing here. She is a young and lovely

lady with beautiful eyes. Her voice sounds sweet and she speaks English very well.

That was the first impression she left on us when she first gave us an English lesson.

In her class, she taught us carefully and patiently. she has a strange way of making

her class lively and interesting. She always made opportunities for us to speak English.

She gave us many beautiful pictures to talk on them, played games with us and told us

many interesting stories. She made us learn from games. We learned English with great

fun. After class she helped the students who had trouble in learning English.

Little by little, I had interest in English, but English was a new subject to me, I

had many difficulties in learning it well. I often felt very confused. Even though I

wanted to give up learning English. It was Ms. Li who helped me to find ways to

overcome my difficulties. She helped me to practice speaking English everyday. She

always encouraged me whenever I lost heart. She helped me to have confidence in

myself. She gave me what I needed, courage, confidence, good ways to learn

English and opportunities to speak English in class. So I was grateful for her.

Maybe I can‟t meet her again. The only thing I can give her is my best wishes. I wish

Hello! Every one. My name is XuJiaWei, from Class 3 Grade 7.

Please think a minute! I heard a funny true story about this guy who goes to the

gym to exercise and work out each week. He takes 20 minutes to change his clothes.

Then he walks around the gym talking with different people.

After that, he reads the newspaper. Finally, he does a few stretches and 5 minutes

of exercises. Then he takes a hot steam bath before going home. So in the whole 2 hours he‟s at the gym, he only spends 5 minutes exercising! One day, someone heard this man saying:“I don‟t understand it. I go the the gym almost everyday, but I never seem to lose weight.” But every body at the gym knows why, because they see this guy

there doing everything except the main thing exercise!

You see, it‟s important that we keep the main thing. And if you want to be

successful. In your job, business, or managing your family, or your studies, whatever

we do, we must get the main thing done. Instead of wasting our time and energy doing things that aren‟t important. Because it is easy to get side-tracked doing other things

that might be easier or more fun to do. Just think a minute… That‟s all for my today‟s speech, thanks.

Once upon a time, an old rich woman left all her property to the person who could answer her question correctly. Her question was this “what is the most important thing for a person who wants to succeed?” To my surprise, the answer was not money, not

Why is ambition so important? A person without ambition is like a near-sighted lion. All the things in the distance appear blurred. No matter how strong it is, it can‟t

go far.

A lion lives to rule the whole plain. A person must prove that “I am a king here”,

at least you are the king of yourself.

Nowadays, the world is very competitive. Even if you get to the top of your own

field, there might be still someone better than you. So we have to ask ourselves: what

is the proof of success? I believe it is doing something for this world.

Remember: As a successful person, in addition to ambition, the other key you

must hold is love. When you look back at history, you‟ll find you were standing on the

shoulders of the giants. You have enjoyed what they had left you. So we should live to

Making our earth more beautiful

We have only one earth. But now,the environment becomes worse and worse. As

you know,there's no enough clean water for people. So many of them lose their lives

because of water. In a lot of countries, people have to cut trees for living. So there's

nothing to keep water from running away. Also we have polluted the land, the river and

the air. So we have to face more and more floods and droughts . It's time that we must

do something useful to protect our environment. We can plant

trees and take good care of them. We can save the water and ask our parents to do

earth is water while three-tenths is land. Water is “life food” of our earth.. It runs through mountains and valleys. It forms

One day,a little monkey is playing by the well. He looks in the well and shouts : “Oh!My god!The moon has fallen into the well!” An older monkeys runs over, takes a look,and says, “Goodness me!The moon is really in the water!”

And olderly monkey comes over. He is very surprised as well and cries out: “The moon is in the well.” A group of monkeys run over to the well . They look at the moon in the well and shout: “The moon did fall into the well!Come on!Let’get it out!” Then,the oldest monkey hangs on the tree up side down ,with his feet on the branch . And he pulls the next monkey’s feet with his hands.

All the other monkeys follow his suit, And they join each other one by one down to the moon in the well. Just before they reach the moon,the oldest monkey raises his head and happens to see the moon in the sky, He yells excitedly “Don’t be so foolish!The moon is still in the sky!” 一天，有只小猴子在井边玩儿。它往井里一瞧，高喊道：噢！我的天！月亮掉到井里头啦！”一只大猴子跑来一看，说，“糟啦！月亮掉在井里头啦！老猴子也跑过来。他也非常惊奇，喊道：糟了，月亮掉在井里头了一群猴子跑到井边来，他们看到井里的月亮，喊道：“月亮掉在井里头啦！快来！让我们把它捞起来然后，老猴子倒挂在大树上，拉住大猴子的脚，其他的猴子一个个跟着它们一只连着一只直到井里。正好他们摸到月亮的时候，老猴子抬头发现月亮挂在天上呢它兴奋地大叫：“别蠢了！月亮还好好地挂在天上呢！”
