内容比较贴近实际生活，难度较为平稳。
综合以上分析不难发现，16年中考阅读理解在形式上相比往年有所创新，题型较为新颖，体裁内容也较为丰富，包括诗歌、说明文、记叙文等，难度较15年稍有增加，整体较为平稳。
2015年苏州中考英语阅读，体裁丰富，话题多元，很迎合学生的口味，题目理解难度不大，符合历年中考命题特点。
A、B篇另辟蹊径，A篇给出一张地铁换乘路线图，与日常生活实际紧密相关，三题均是询问换乘站点、路线，只需要仔细对照上图，按照题目要求，找出应该问题不大。B篇阅读题材为书信，Wendy和Jack兄妹给同学写的一封关于他们在法国游玩趣事的一份信，四题分别为3题细节题以及1题主旨题。
C篇是一则关于特别的圣诞礼物的记叙文，话题近似寓言，主要讲述了一个男孩从思考特别的圣诞礼物到奇遇自己的圣诞礼物再到明白圣诞礼物特别含义的过程。此篇题型考查多样，四小问依次考查了细节题、猜词、主旨大意、推断四种题型。相比AB两篇，难度有所上升。 D篇选题较为新颖，选择了时下较为流行的gap year，间隔年。间隔年可以培养学生的国际观念和积极的人生态度，学习生存技能，增进学生的自我了解，从而让他们找到自己真正想要的工作或者找到更好的工作，以一种“间隔”当前社会生活的方式，达到更好地融入当前社会的目的。最后的四道题分别考察了细节理解、句意推断和主旨大意。

4.词汇检测
16年的单词拼写从题型上来看，根据汉语注释以正确形式填空有7个，根据上下文有3个。与15年相同，没有变化；从词性来说考察了4个动词，3个名词，副词、人称代词、数词各考察了一个，15年的中考词汇检测题，从词性来看考察了4个动词，3个名词，形容词、副词和介词各一。相比下来，考察的知识点变化不大，但16年难度明显提升，考察的个别词汇较偏，大部分考生可能会在这些词汇上出问题。
5.句子翻译
2016年的句子翻译总体而言与15年相比难度有所提升。总体考察了三个简单句，两个复合句，第一句考察点why not后接动词原形；第二句考察点谚语三思而后行；第三句考察被动语态的结构；第四句考点宾语从句需要使用陈述句语序；第五句考察句型so...that...
2015的句子翻译总体难度较小，考察了三个简单句，两个主从复合句。第一句，语义考点为“一„就„”和“上交”，语法点为主将从现；第二句，考察“ It is + adj. + for sb. to do sth.” 句型的一般疑问句形式；第三句，考察 had better do sth. (最好做某事) 的否定形式, 即 had better not do sth.；第四句，“想知道”考生可以用 wonder 或 want to know 这种简单形式进行“合理避让”，但要注意宾语从句需要使用陈述句语序。最后一句，需要掌握“艺术品”works of art的表达，整体来说内容紧扣教材，设题平和，考生得分容易。
6.阅读表达
阅读表达是16年中考的一个新题型，也是接下来英语中考的趋势，通篇以对话的形式描述了一位母亲因孩子粗心，钱总是乱放，最终以带孩子到银行为孩子开办了银行账户来解决了这个问题，内容贴近生活，理解起来也非常简单，因为是新题型，所以难度不大，三个题目都是紧紧围绕文章内容来的，第一题为细节题，在文章中可直接找到答案；第二题需要根据文章内容进行概括，但难度不大；第三题为开放题，只要学生语言表达通畅，合乎逻辑即可得分。
7.书面表达
16年苏州市中考英语写作，考察学生作为一名迪士尼乐园的志愿者需要做到的一些事情，
内容表格中有提示，但较为简洁，从而增加了考生的写作难度，需要学生发挥的空间比较大， 而15年苏州市中考英语写作，题材选择贴近学生生活的“足球进校园”活动，介绍足球这项运动并谈自己的梦想。作文给出的提示较多且逻辑清晰，难度中等。

5. 句子翻译
2015的句子翻译总体难度而言与去年相比下降不少。总体考察了三个简单句，两个主从复合句。第一句，语义考点为“一…就…”和“上交”，语法点为主将从现；第二句，考察 “ It is + adj. + for sb. to do sth.” 句型的一般疑问句形式，比较简单；第三句，考察 had better do sth. (最好做某事) 的否定形式, 即 had better not do sth.，“摘花”用pick up flowers，对大部分考生来说也没难度；第四句，“想知道”考生可以用 wonder 或 want to know 这种简单形式进行“合理避让”，但要注意宾语从句需要使用陈述句语序。keep in touch with sb.这个动词短语，考生烂熟于胸，所以本句难度适中。最后一句，需要掌握“艺术品”works of art的表达，结合明显的时间状语“上周”，用一般过去时组织起来即能轻松得分。整体来说内容紧扣教材，设题平和，考生得分容易。
6. 书面表达

在新东方的英语课堂上，写作老师专门有和学生训练写作十字真经“结构，要点，逻辑，语法，亮点”；我们从以下几方面分别来分析：
一．结构
本篇写作给出4个要点，1）足球常识；2）足球好处；3）偶像；4）梦想，貌似分四段，其实中考最流行的结构就是三段式。说明文，记叙文，议论文都通用三段式，这种结构十分清晰。因此深受各地区中考英语写作阅卷老师的喜爱。我们可以把足球常识和足球好处归为
第一段。或者偶像和梦想归为一段，这样结构上显得更加严谨整齐；
二．要点
中考写作一般会给出几个要点，要点必须在文章中有所体现。
文章写得再好，只要缺少要点就会扣分。所以要点，也就是文章的内容要做到全，围绕中心。
比如历史悠久has a long history不能漏掉，再如足球的好处，有一项考生自拟，学生不能遗漏，可以写Playing football is good for our health.
三． 逻辑
写作中的逻辑实际指的是逻辑词，最常见的就是表示递进的，转折的，总结的逻辑词等。真正有经验的阅卷老师会很注意这些逻辑连接词，因为这次词体现了这个文章的思路。
比如在15年书面表达中，踢足球的好处，考生们可以注意使用：First, second, third, Besides/ what’s more/ in addition/ furthermore/ moreover等词；再如说起偶像梅西，可以用not only... but also„这样的表示并列关系的逻辑词；再如总结性的逻辑词in a word等；
四． 语法
结构，逻辑，亮点等都不是硬性要求，不用也不能算错，只是难达到满分作文有难度。但是语法确实硬性的，如时态，人称，主谓一致等；有错误会直接扣分，1000篇写作中真正没有语法错误的只有10篇左右。我们在写作中的语法保障无错的前提下，力求语法数量多，比如三大从句灵活运用，被动语态再用副词修饰，无灵主语等等；【2016苏州中考英语试卷分析】
五． 亮点
做到前4项，只能说是个不错的官方范文，能达到一等文的分数18～19分。但是如果希望冲刺满分作文，文章中需要有亮点。如合理引用谚语，词汇方面土词变牛词，短语代替单个的词等等；
同学们，中考写作字数在90字左右，相当于小学四年级语法写作要求，写作更加倾向于词，句，篇的运用，而不是内容方面过于复杂；相信通过学生平时多训练写作，多去对作文进行反复批改，一定会冲刺满分作文；
考察当中复查写作，请同学们练习这5点。
A. 看字数是否达到要求。看有无遗漏要点。
B. 看文体格式是否正确规范，注意时态、语态、人称是否上下文一致。

During my first two weeks at the University of California , Berkeley , I experienced some unexpected , funny , and sometimes embarrassing(令人尴尬的) situations . Allow me to share some with you .
But first , let me give advice to other foreign students who plan to study in the United States .
Check the weather before coming ! I was very sure that California was sunny all year around so I left all my jackets and sweaters in Paris . It was a huge mistake ! It rained almost every day during the first week in Berkeley .
I have to say that I quickly forgot these unlucky events . Life in Berkeley is very pleasant and everything is so easy compared to Paris . For example , in only 24 hours I bought a mobile phone and made the lease(租约) agreement for a flat . What’s more , almost all the shops are open on Sunday , which is very practical for me .
The first thing that surprised me is that students may come late to class . They freely enter and leave the classroom many times during class , In France , students respect the teacher’s lesson , so they are never late and they leave the classroom only at the end of the class .
The local people in California are in general very nice , open and active , However , I am not totally used to their habits yet . Indeed , I was used to shaking my friends’ hands every day in France . During my second day at Berkeley , I shook the hand of one of my classmates whom I had met the day before and he told me “I think we already met !”
Another funny story happened during the first party I attended : A girl that I meet before came to hug me . I thought she wanted to kiss me like we usually do in France to say hello . So I kissed her and she seemed a little bit embarrassed .
I live a great experience at present , and I would just encourage any student to become a member in a program at UC , Berkeley .
