My house

Look! This is my house. It's very beautiful! We have just moved into a new flat, like most people here living in their houses in the suburbs. Our house is big though it consists only two floors.

On the first floor there is the dining room, the lounge or sitting room, the kitchen and the hall. In the hall we set a stand for hats, coats and umbrellas. A staircase leads from the hall to the landing on the second floor; on this floor there are four bedrooms, a bathroom and a lavatory. There is a sofa in the living room. The sofa is red and white. I like red. And it's my favorite color, and there is a big TV. On the TV, there is a photo. It's our family photo. This girl on the photo is me.

In front of the house we have a small garden in which we grow flowers: roses, tulips and some fruit trees. There is also a vegetable garden where we grow all kinds of vegetables, such as cabbages, cauliflowers, and tomatoes. We all know how to plant vegetables for my father was once a vegetable grower.

At the side of the house is a garage. We haven't got a car up to now, but my mother said: we'd have one at the end of this year. People, in this high-consumer city are very rich, not like the people live in the inland, cities.

On the second floor, there has a large playroom for playing. Such as mahjong table, home cinema, table tennis etc. Our families always have fun on the second floor after dinner. All of us like our house though it is simple. Do you like my house?

My Home

My home is an old but comfortable house from one of the tall block flats located in the north of Chenzhou city. It has 110 square meters. We had the window frames painted last year. We need to decorate it this year.

There are near it a few parks, a tower building, a bus station and an elementary school. People in my neighborhood are friendly and cooperative. There is neither crime nor pollution there. Children are often found playing in the parks. A market, shops and a big department store are within walking distance. There are around us some more expensive, bigger and more

beautiful houses, but none is as warm as mine. It is so cozy and all of us are satisfied with it.

My Dream

Everyone has his/her dream. I have dream as well. When I was a little girl, I have been dreaming of being a teacher. It seemed so fascinate to me and I hope I can make my dream come true.

When I grow up, I have changed my dream from teacher to doctor. Because doctor can let people get rid of the pain and make healthier. I believe doctor will help others to obtain good body. Therefore, I hoped I might be a doctor in future.

Right now, I work as a clerk in the court of Suxianqu district in Chenzhou. At the same time, I am currently pursuing my studies on law in the advanced class. I have changed my dream to a judge. For this change, the most important reason is that our country needs plenty of professional judges. So far, judge is considered an important and sacred job in China. Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards. A country can not be dominated very well without law. So I want to be a judge. To be a judge, I will try my best mediating a dispute and appeasing conflict.

I will study hard and hope my dream being a judge will come true in the future.

Changes in life

Over the recent years, I′ve seen great changes in my life. Many aspects are to be concerned, but by simply specifying how my family are better off now than ever before suffices it all. We used to live in a cramped and gloomy room, and things were not so good as we had to strive for light and even more fresh air. Now, in this spacious and luminous room that I¨m talking about, I′m leading a life that′s more than satisfactory and getting around here and there is no longer a big problem.

there be与have/has用法区别

1．there be结构主要表示“某地（某时）有……”表示事物的存在，不能表示“所有；拥有”，即“某人（物）有……”。There be中的动词be(is, are)是“存在”的意思。there在这种句型中是引导词，没有实际词义。由there引导的这种结构，主语应放在动词be(is,are)之后，与其在数方面保持一致。其结构如下：

“there be+名词（主语）＋地点状语或时间状语。”例如：

（1）There are many students in the classroom. 教室里有许多学生。

（2）There is a picture on the wall. 墙上有张画。

（3）There are seven days in a week. 一周有七天。

在there be 结构中一定要注意谓语就近的原则。

（5）There is a pen and two books on the desk.

（6）There are two books and a pen on the desk.

2．动词have/has表示“有”时，它通常有三个含义：

A．表示“某人（在物质上的）所有。”这种情况下不能用there be替换。如： I have a new watch. 我有一块新表。

B．表示“某人或动物（在身体上的）长有”。这种情况也不能用there be替换。 如：
