  一、 教学目标与要求

  能熟练掌握单词for different benches then

  能初步运用句型there wasn’t there weren’t there is there are描述事物或场景的变化。

  在图文或场景下能用英语描述事物或场景的变化。能在真实的情景中灵活运用本节课所学内容。

  2. 情感态度目标

  培养小组合作意识,热爱家乡,热爱祖国的情感。鼓励学生仔细观察,勤于思考。

  二、 教学重点及难点

  1. 本课的教学重点是运用句型there wasn’t there weren’t there is there are描述事物或场景的变化。

  2. 本课的教学难点是there wasn’t there weren’t there is there are句型结构的理解和运用。

  三、 课前准备

  1. 教材的配套光盘。

  2. 教材配套的单词卡片。

  3. 教师准备的挂图。

  4. 教师准备一个盒子,内放有水果,动物玩具。

  四、 教学过程

  Step 1:Warm up

  1.Free talk.

  How many children are there in your class?

  How many boys/girls?

  How many windows/desks/chairs…?

  2.Game:

  (出示事先准备好的盒子)Look, there is a box on the desk.

  What’s in the box? 请一名同学到前面来看一眼盒子里的东西,进行描述,其他同学用There be 句型猜。

  Example:

  A: It’s long. It’s yellow. It’s a kind of fruit.

  B: There is an apple.

  T: There isn’t an apple.

  …

  C: They’ve got long nose. They are big. They are animals.

  D: There are monkeys.

  T: There aren’t any monkeys.

  …

  Step 2:Presentation and practice

  1. Before Listening:(出示挂图)

  T: Who are they?

  S: They are Lingling, Amy and Sam.

  T: Where are they?

  S: Linging is in London with Sam and Amy.

  They are in a park.

  T: What’s the park like now?

  There are benches here. bench 长凳

  There is a clock.

  There are birds, too.

  配以简笔画将几样物品在黑板上画出

  2. While listening:

  1).听CD-ROM, 每一遍解决一个问题,可通过pairwork巩固操练。

  Q1: Does this park look different now?

  different不同的, look different看起来不同

  Yes, it does. This park is different.

  Q2: Were there any benches here before? before以前,教读

  No, there weren’t.

  There weren’t any benches here before.

  There weren’t (以前) 没有(复数),教读。any一些(用于否定句)

  将黑板上长凳的简笔画擦掉

  Q3:Was there a clock here before?

  No, there wasn’t.

  There wasn’t a clock here before.

  There wasn’t (以前)没有(单数),教读。

  将黑板上钟的简笔画擦掉

  Q4: There was a________. only只,仅仅。教读。

  There was only a slide. slide滑梯,教读。

  在黑板上画滑梯简笔画。

  2).Listen, point and find“There was, There wasn’t, There weren’t”.

  反馈,听录音跟读划出的句子。

  3).Listen and repeat.

  4).Read in groups.

  3.After listening:

  1). Activity book P2\ P3

  2). Listen and say.

  Listen and say, then practise in pairs.

  梳理,归类: now before

  there is there was

  there isn’t there wasn’t

  there are there were

  there aren’t there weren’t

  3).Retell.(看图)

  The park is different now.

  There weren’t any benches here before.

  There was a house.

  There wasn’t a clock here before.

  There is one now.

  There are birds, too.

  Step 3: Consolidation and extension

  1. Practise.

  1).Say the phrases.

  2).Point the picture and say.

  Example

  A: There weren’t any benches before.

  B: Now there are swings.

  2.教室的变化。

  1).学生观察一下教室与以前相比有哪些变化,小组讨论后反馈。

  There was/were…here.

  There wasn’t/weren’t…here.

  2).Have the students choose three or four of the suggestions and write sentences about them.

  Examples

  There was a map here.

  Step 4: Summary

  总结本课所学重点。

  A. Listen and repeat the dialogue.

  Step 1:Warm up

  1.Brainstorm.

  出示五张图片,学生认读记忆图片(图片内容以单数形式出现)。

  再出示十张图片,其中包含刚才学生读过的五张图,学生根据自己的记忆用There was a…before. There wasn’t a…before.来说。

  同样方法出示内容为复数形式的图片,There were…before. There weren’t… before.

  Step 2:Presentation and practice

  1.Before Listening:(出示挂图)

  T:Look at the pictures of the school.

  Does it look different now?

  S:Yes,it does.

  2.While listening:

  Q1:How about the trees?

  There were lots of little trees here.

  Now there are tall trees.

  Q2: How about the playground?

  playground 操场, 教读。

  There was a small playground here.

  trees, playground, classroom, school gate…

  There were…. Now there are…

  There was…. Now there is…

  Example

  There was a small school gate.

  Now there is a big school gate.

  2). Look and say.

  a).What can you see in Picture 1?

  A small blackboard, small desks, small chairs…

  What can you see in Picture 2?

  A computer, a big blackboard, big desks, big chairs…

  b).Find the differences.

  Example

  There were small desks in the classroom before.

  There are big desks in the classroom now.

  c).Practise in pairs.

  Example

  (Student A closes his/her book.)

  B: There were small desks in the classroom before.

  A: There are big desks in the classroom now.

  After three turns, the students should swap roles.

  Step 3: Consolidation and extension

  1.Game: Find the differences and say.

  A:There was/were…

  B:Now there is/are…

  Practise in groups.

  反馈,比一比哪一组找到的最多。

  2. Learn the song.

  1).Before singing the song:

  Talk about the pictures.

  2).While singing the song:

  Enjoy the song.

  Repeat the sentences.

  Sing along with the music.

  3).After singing the song:

  填喜爱的词唱歌.

  3.Activity bookP4.1 Listen and write.

  4.Activity bookP4.2 Look at the pictures and say.

  Then close the book. Listen and judge.
