  一、教学目标:

  《英语课程标准》中指出小学英语教学应“采用活动途径,倡导体验参与”的理念,充分利用教学资源,采用听、说、读、写、演、唱等方式侧重提高小学生对语言的感受和运用能力。因此结合这一目标要求,现将本课教学目标设计如下:

  1.知识目标:

  ⑴掌握turn off、watch TV、looking at the stars、read storybooks等短语;

  ⑵学习I usually…(do)in the evening,but now I’m …(doing).

  2.能力目标:

  ⑴能够听懂“Earth Hour”有关采访内容;

  ⑵能够读懂“Earth Hour”有关采访内容,完成课本填空;

  3.情感态度:

  ⑴体会和家人在一起的美好时光;

  ⑵通过学习、理解、对比,培养学生节能环保的理念;

  二、课时安排:一课时

  三、教学方法:

  以学生为本,以学生发展为出发点,采用任务型教学法和情景教学法,借助多媒体和教学用具完成教学,激发学生学习兴趣,通过Read、say and act等方式让学生参与到英语课堂中来,体验学习成功的自信心;

  四、教学重点:

  1. 通过学习“Earth Hour”的背景知识,掌握人们平时以及地球一小时开展的活动;

  2. 掌握一般现在时和现在进行时的用法;

  五、教学难点:正确区分一般现在时和现在进行时的用法;

  六、教具:多媒体、教学用具、头饰等;

  七、教学过程:

  Step 1. Warming-up

  ⒈Greetings.

  How are you?

  Nice to meet you.

  What’s the date today?

  How’s the weather today?

  (设计意图:师生相互问候,快速进入学习状态,激发学习兴趣,激活学习动机。)

  ⒉Sing a song.《London Bridge is falling down》

  (设计意图:课前活动轻松活泼,营造愉快的学习英语氛围。)

  3.Free talk.

  What do you usually do in the evening or at night?

  I usually… in the evening or at night.

  (设计意图:复习旧知,巩固知识,培养学生的自信心)

  Step 2 .Presentation

  ⒈Watch a VCR.(About Earth Hour)

  (设计意图:初步感知,激发学生学习兴趣与学习欲望)

  ⒉Listen and say.

  3.Ask and answer.(3 pictures)

  T:What does Alice usually do in the evening?But now what is she doing?

  Ss:She usually watches TV with her parents in the evening.

  Now she is looking at the stars.

  T:What does Kitty usually do before bedtime?But now what is she doing?

  Ss:She usually read storybooks before bedtime.

  Now her grandma is telling a story.

  T:What does Sally usually do at night?But now what is she doing?

  Ss:She usually does her homework at night.

  Now she is playing word games.

  (设计意图:通过3位同学在平时与“地球一小时”做的事情的对比,进一步锻炼了学生语言归纳能力,为后面的学习设下了铺垫,进一步加强了学生环保意识,要节约能源)

  4.教师板书

  (设计意图:板书设计以表格形式呈现,循序渐进,一目了然,起到了很好的示范作用,培养学生正确书写能力)

  Step 3 .Practice

  ⒈Read in roles.

  以小组为单位,戴上人物头饰分角色朗读对话并进行课堂评价;

  2.Complete the reporter’s notes.(P39)

  3.Let’s act.

  (设计意图:通过小组表演的形式,使学生在参与中进一步体验学习的乐趣,培养学生学习的积极性和主动性。)

  Step 4 .Wrap-up

  1.“Earth Hour”Show

  (设计意图:通过总结并观看“地球一小时”世界各地开展熄灯一小时等活动,进一步渗透了环保理念,培养了学生节约能源的好习惯。)

  2.Do some surveys about “Earth Hour”

  Step 5.Homework

  1.Read the dialogs 3 times.

  2.Copy the dialogs P38.

  3.Act the dialogs and do some surveys about《Earth Hour》.

  教学反思:

  一节好课最大的受益者就是学生,本节课我始终以学生为本,让学生成为课堂的主体,通过听、说、读、写、演等方式让学生全面参与到英语学习中来,在学习中体验,在体验中感知,在感知中提升,培养学生的环保意识,从而更好地生活和学习。

  在教学过程中,本节课内容部分短语的学习有一定的难度,在突破重难点上还存在一定的不足,学生的发音纠正不够及时,以及学生的课外知识面较窄,在今后的学习中要帮助孩子们开拓眼界,了解更多的课外知识,从而更好得为学习服务,体验学习的成功与快乐。
