百词英语文章百字汉语译文
1/100 is a magazine featuring a collection of stories paired with photographs. Each story is precisely 100 words. The stories are written by Michele Catalano, who started writing 100-word stories as a daily writing exercise. She eventually combined her love of digital photography processing with her love of flash fiction to create 1/100. Michele has been writing on the internet in some form since 2001. She has been published by True/Slant, Forbes, Maura Magazine, Boing Boing, and The Magazine.
有本杂志，叫做《1/100》。每一期里有三个故事，每个故事都是仅用100个英文单词构成，再加一副图片。这些故事的写作者是Michele Catalano，从2001年开始至今，她都坚持这么做。于是，一本电子杂志就这么在App Store里出现了。
上次分享其中一篇文章：Edges。今天继续第二篇：Rear View。
She was the only one on the road, the long expanse of blacktop and white lines stretching out before her, an unbroken ribbon of a path that would take her somewhere. Anywhere. She needn't know her destination, she only had to know that what was behind her would stay there. She checked her rear view mirror to see if the clouds were following her, but they stayed back, dark and petulant, and she sighed with relief as she raced for the sun ahead of her. She'd get there eventually. She didn't know where, but she knew she should get there.
